MTI ANNOUNCES HIRE OF BENJAMIN JOHN, PhD, MSc
AS DIRECTOR, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

 

LANGHORNE, PA (October 30, 2007) – MTI is pleased to
announce the hire of Benjamin John, PhD, MSc as Director,
Research and Development.  In this position, John is responsible
for the analysis of pharmaceutical product markets and employing advanced statistical methodologies to develop and interpret the performance of MTI’s proprietary products.

With over seven (7) years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, Benjamin most recently worked with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson company as Senior Biostatistician. His many responsibilities included defining statistical methods and models, validating computer programs designed for the statistical analysis of data and preparing study protocols and statistical analysis plans.

“We are enthusiastic to have Benjamin join the MTI team,” said Levi Sorrell, Chief Scientist. “His experience with Evidence-Based Medicine and Health Outcomes Research, combined with his statistical analysis expertise, make him a valuable addition to the MTI team.”

John earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics and his Masters in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.  He earned a Masters in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
